New music alert! I’m stoked to be releasing my new song, “Those Tired Eyes”. It’s a lullaby I wrote for my son when he was a baby. He’d rock in his swing and one of two things would happen: he’d fall asleep or not. This song was written during that in-between phase, with me hoping for the former.

The song’s creation seems to come from my influences: Eric Johnson, Randy Rhoads, and now Mike Dawes. I met Mike when he played at TCAN. I previously emailed him asking for an opening slot and he replied right away stating his management wasn’t allowing for openers but to hopefully in the future. Rarely do I get such prompt and/ or thoughtful replies. Not only a monster player, but a seemingly nice guy too.

This is my 2nd lullaby, the first being: “A’s Lullaby”. Funnily enough, my sister once asked who the “A” was for.
