As the growth of AI becomes more controversial, I figure: guitarists have been using a version of AI for decades with plug-ins and effect pedals before it being called AI. I’m taking it one step further: in songwriting and to play music.

I’m stoked to announce my new project: Soluaire (note the “AI” in the word). It’s music and lyrics written by me but with the vocals performed by AI. I’ll still use AI to generate bass, drum, and piano tracks (via Logic Pro) but the song and guitar parts will be mine. Band members may include Aiden Isley on vocals, KAI on bass, and Craig Hailey on drums (all referencing AI).

This gives me the opportunity to write in any genre and release music at a much faster pace. Old lyrics can now be put to use and my voice (lyrically) can be heard. I’m excited and I hope you enjoy this new side project.
