What tips do you have for when I’m playing the same stuff over & over again? How can I new scales or chords to get better?

I’d suggest learning some new songs, maybe outside your genre/ style. Sites like Songsterr and YouTube channels like TrueFire or typing in “Guitar Lesson” into the search engine may bring about new ideas.

Do you name your guitars? How many guitars do you own? Tx.

I don’t. I usually just refer to them by their maker (5 guitars: Ernie Ball, Fender, PRS, Taylor – acoustic, Breedlove – acoustic).

I’d say Chris Buck. He’s a touring, professional guitarist but without socials (Instagram, in particular), I don’t think I ever would’ve heard about him.
